Routledge Research on New Waves in Pragmatics

About the Book Series

Routledge Research on New Waves in Pragmatics showcases the latest research from early career scholars in pragmatics, giving voice to pragmatics researchers in the early stages of their career while shining a light on the newest research and lines of inquiry within the field. Produced in conjunction with Routledge as an initiative of the American Pragmatics Association (AMPRA), the series features monographs and edited collections which reflect new developments and the diversity of the field, including but not restricted to such topics as linguistic pragmatics, cognitive pragmatics, philosophical pragmatics, intercultural pragmatics, sociocultural pragmatics, corpus pragmatics, interlanguage pragmatics, interactional pragmatics, and internet pragmatics. The series will highlight theoretical and methodological frameworks and new ways of thinking in and about pragmatics from early career scholars from around the world.

Early-career scholars—scholars who have completed their PhD thesis no more than five years from submission of their proposal—interested in submitting a proposal or manuscript for double-blind review may contact series co-editor Dr. Monika Kirner-Ludwig ([email protected]). While affiliated with AMPRA, the series is not in any way restricted to AMPRA members or conference participants.
