Routledge Studies in Probation and Community Sanctions
About the Book Series
The aim of this interdisciplinary series is to advance theoretical, methodological, and empirical knowledge of community sanctions and measures in different societies and in comparative contexts. Books on topics such as community supervision, ‘mass probation’, policy transfer, penal-welfarism, 'carceral citizenship', electronic monitoring, sex offender registration, and practices and experiences of punishment and the 'pains of probation' would be welcomed, as well as those providing important theoretical insights into the nature of penality, ‘new penology’ and risk management. The series features single and dual authored monographs, and edited collections.
