SAR Remote Sensing
About the Book Series
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is an indispensable and highly capable Earth remote sensing instrument. It is a day‐night and all-weather sensor for all aspects of environmental monitoring, disaster (earthquake, tsunami, forest fire, etc.) assessment, and military applications. Since the 1980s, a plethora of space-borne SAR systems have been launched and are in operation, and new satellites are launched every day. Many SAR imaging modes have been developed and tailored to specific applications. SAR is becoming a vast and continuously evolving field of remote sensing technology and applications. This book series provides timely information on advancements and encompasses innovative SAR scattering theory, processing techniques, and applications in all environments. Books in this series serve and benefit professionals, academics, and students in the remote sensing community.
